PVR Cinemas Ranked 2nd in India and 17th Globally, Annual Report (FY 2018-19)

PVR Cinemas, the largest and the most premium film exhibition company in India, got recognized for its Annual report for FY 2018-19 in the Vision Awards Annual Report Competition and was ranked 2nd in India and 17th   globally. Additionally, PVR won the Platinum Award (Ranked 1st globally) in Consumer Services – Hotels/Restaurants/Leisure Competition Category. PVR FY 2018-19 Annual Report titled ‘Lifting the bar of Cinema, Hospitality & Design for 100 Million Customers’ presented overall change in Multiplex Industry in the last two decades.

 The League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP) is an association established in 2001 to create a forum within the public relations industry that facilitates discussion of best-in-class global practices within the profession while recognizing those that demonstrate exemplary communication capabilities. The Vision Awards benchmark and recognize best practices in international financial reporting, and is one the largest annual report competitions in the world.

LACP in its seventeenth edition on March 16, 2020, announced top 100 reports from across formats like annual, online, ESG, integrated reports, sustainability reports, CSRs and related media reports from across the world.  The 2018/19 Vision Awards Annual Report Competition drew one of the largest numbers of submissions ever, representing a broad range of industries and organizational sizes.  This year’s event was comprised of nearly 1,000 organizations representing upwards of a score of countries, so the competition was exceptionally tough.

Some of the Global Companies that appeared in the Top-100 rankings included likes of Johnson & Johnson (Rank # 9), Hyundai Elevator (Rank # 50), Kia Motors (Rank # 68), Coca Cola Femsa (Rank#75), Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (Rank # 93).
